At an early age, I experienced and witnessed what it means to be raised in poverty. I’m forever grateful to my parents for giving me intangible gifts I wouldn’t trade for gold, but the hardship I faced and saw as an adolescent was difficult to bear. I prayerfully start Chang Sea Foundation with one thought: no child should sacrifice their health, education, recreation, or passion, at any cost. There is no trade-off big enough to make their sacrifice justified.

Starting a 501(c)(3) organization was a dream of mine and I’m living my dream. I look forward to partnering with many of you to love on the greatest gift from above, our children.

With Hope,

Hanna

Coming from an immigrant family with humble beginnings, I saw firsthand how much discipline, sacrifice, and community support it takes to build a life in a new country. We didn’t always have access to the same resources or opportunities as others—especially when it came to extracurriculars or enrichment programs. But thanks to the support of extended family and the strength of our community, we were able to move forward and eventually thrive. This experience gave me a deep sense of gratitude—but also a strong conviction to ensure that others aren’t left behind simply because of limited resources.

I believe that talent and potential are everywhere—but opportunity is not. And when we fail to invest in under-resourced youth, we not only hold back individuals—we miss out on what they could offer to the world. That’s why we started CSF: to help bridge that gap. Whether through academics, mentorship, or sports, we want every child to feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow into who they were created to be.

We’ve been blessed and entrusted with the opportunity to steward God’s resources, and we believe CSF is a place where those resources can be used faithfully, wisely, and with lasting impact. We invite others to partner with us—so that together, we can bring to reality talent hidden in underprivileged youth.
